Job summary

LA28 seeks a Manager, Civil Engineering to establish the civil foundation of its venues, guiding designs from concept through construction to ensure fit-for-purpose infrastructure for Games time. You will translate stakeholder needs into cost-effective, constructible solutions across a multi-venue portfolio, while leading diverse teams and coordinating with architects, engineers, and external partners.

This on-site role is based in Downtown Los Angeles, requires collaboration across disciplines

Qualifications

• 5+ years of civil engineering infrastructure design and construction experience.
• Accredited Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
• Experience with siteworks: earthwork, drainage, utilities, fire life safety.
• Proven ability to lead diverse teams and manage stakeholders.
• Knowledge of codes, standards, and permitting processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil aspects of venue design books from concept to construction.
• Coordinate requirements into cost-effective, fit-for-purpose solutions across venues.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers; oversee external resources.
• Partner with Accessibility, Energy, Technology to integrate civil works.
• Work with Cost and Procurement to identify savings and manage risks.
• Perform duties and adapt as needed, including during Olympic/Paralympic Games.
