Qualifications

• Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer in the State of California is required; possession of a valid California Class C driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, manage, and coordinate the design, review, permitting, construction, and delivery of public works, capital improvement, utility, and private development projects.
• Serve as project manager for major engineering and infrastructure initiatives; oversee consultant and construction contracts; develop and administer project budgets; prepare technical and administrative reports; secure and administer grant and other funding opportunities.
• Provide technical guidance and direction to professional, technical, and support staff and represent the City before public agencies, commissions, City Council, developers, contractors, and the public.
