Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Indiana required or actively pursuing licensure.
• 5+ years of civil engineering experience.
• Experience on municipal/roadway/sewer/water/storm sewer/site design projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead project design team and coordinate schedules with project managers to meet deadlines.
• Assist in preparation of proposals and project scope, including feasibility and cost estimates.
• Review project work at milestones and ensure adherence to quality control plans.
• Coordinate with permitting agencies and stakeholders.
• Direct and review permit applications, specifications, bid documents, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with Geotech or subs and communicate with contractors as needed.
• Determine team roles for construction administration and perform spot field checks.
• Coordinate continuing education for technical staff and mentor junior staff.
