Job summary

Abonmarche is seeking a Civil Engineer Project Manager in our Valparaiso, IN office. The role involves leading and coordinating municipal and private engineering projects, including roadways, utilities, trails, and asset management, with responsibilities spanning planning, budgeting, and quality control.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, be a registered Professional Engineer in Indiana, and have 10+ years of civil engineering experience, with strong communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• PE license in Indiana required.
• 10+ years of civil engineering experience.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or with a team.
• Good verbal and written skills.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Microsoft Suite programs.

Responsibilities

• Manage, organize and execute engineering projects.
• Direct project team on municipal and private projects including roadway reconstruction, sanitary sewers, storm sewers, water mains, trails, traffic signals, and asset management projects.
• Attend project planning meetings.
• Assist in marketing and business development.
• Deal with permitting, zoning planning and other officials on project issues.
• Assume significant responsibility for meeting schedule, budget and quality goals.
