Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Indiana.
• 5+ years of civil engineering experience.
• Experience as a project engineer on municipal or roadway projects preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects from concept to completion.
• Direct design teams and coordinate with project managers and supervisors.
• Assist in proposals, scopes, and feasibility estimates.
• Review work at milestones and enforce quality control.
• Coordinate with permitting agencies and prepare permit documents.
• Collaborate with geotechnical and other subs as needed.
• Assign team roles for construction administration and spot-check on site.
• Mentor junior staff and support continuing education.
