Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer registration is required; California registration is preferred.
• At least 12 years of professional land development experience across applicable commercial, residential, institutional, healthcare, municipal, or Federal projects.
• Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic calculations, technical studies, mapping, civil construction documents, earthwork calculations, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong written and verbal communication, time management, and client relationship skills; San Diego County stormwater experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil projects from entitlement and initial design through construction documentation and administration.
• Oversee multiple concurrent projects while managing budgets and schedules.
• Direct design team efforts and coordinate with professionals across multiple disciplines.
• Maintain client relationships and support successful project delivery.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to a technically driven design environment.
