Job summary

Onward Engineering, a civil engineering firm in Orange County, CA, seeks a Senior Project Manager to own roadway and public works projects from kickoff through construction. You will manage client relationships directly with city engineers and public works directors, and lead a team of engineers and designers.

You are a licensed PE in California with 15+ years of public works experience, proficient in Civil 3D, Caltrans standards, and Greenbook.

Qualifications

• Licensed PE in California with 15+ years of public works experience.
• Experience managing street, roadway or parkway projects for a city or public agency.
• Proficient in Civil 3D; knowledge of Caltrans standards, Greenbook and local agency requirements.
• Ability to own client relationships and be the face of a project.

Responsibilities

• Manage roadway and public works projects from kickoff through construction.
• Direct client relationships with city engineers and public works directors.
• Lead a team of engineers and designers and mentor junior staff.
• Oversee design production in Civil 3D and manage schedules/budgets.
