Job summary

Langan Engineering & Environmental Services is seeking a Senior Staff Civil Engineer to join its collaborative team in Las Vegas, Nevada. This role focuses on planning, design, and permitting of civil engineering and land development projects, including mixed-use developments and educational facilities.

Bring 3+ years in site/civil design, EIT; PE preferred. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D required. You’ll contribute to innovative solutions and grow within a supportive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional site/civil design experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required; PE preferred.
• EIT certification required; licensure as PE preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and modification of various engineering documents including reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, cost estimates and design plans for projects using engineering and design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.) and equipment.
• Use reports, maps, drawings, engineering plans, tests, and aerial photographs to assess soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and topographical and geologic data and their impact on the planning and design of projects.
• Familiarity with current local, state, and federal land use permitting is a plus.
• Collaborate with team members on project tasks and assignments; and
• Perform other job duties as requested.
