Dewberry's Owings Mills, MD office seeks a Senior Civil Engineer to join a growing team delivering comprehensive utility and energy infrastructure projects along the Baltimore-Wilmington corridor. The role moves projects from concept through design to construction and as-built documentation, with emphasis on quality control.

You will mentor engineers, interact with public agencies, and apply strong civil/site design skills across utilities, roads, drainage, and erosion control.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years in design and construction of site/civil projects in mid-Atlantic.
• Professional Engineer in MD or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineering, and QC for site/civil projects including grading and stormwater.
• Lead project engineering and design on projects.
• Coordinate with city, county, state, and federal agencies.
• Prepare calculations, reports, and spreadsheets.
• Mentor staff and assist with scope/fee determinations.
