Job summary

NCE | Engineering & Environmental Services seeks a Senior Civil Engineer to join our infrastructure group in Northern Nevada, driving design and project leadership for complex road, utility, and water infrastructure initiatives.

You will manage multidisciplinary projects, pursue new business, develop proposals, allocate resources, and mentor team members while maintaining strong client communications and delivering high-quality PS&E packages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• 15 years of progressive civil engineering experience.
• Nevada P.E. license or reciprocity within the first 6 months.
• Experience using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing projects to meet or exceed client requirements and expectations.
• Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
• Developing written project scopes and proposals and participating in project interviews.
• Managing the allocation of resources to complete assigned projects.
• Developing and maintaining ongoing positive relationships with clients through proactive communication and timely responsiveness to our clients’ needs and wants.
• Providing guidance to office and field personnel and mentoring to project team members.
• Reviewing engineering work completed by others.
