Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited four-year institution.
  • Five to seven years of relevant civil engineering experience.
  • At least two years of experience solving complex land development problems independently.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Land Development Desktop, and/or Civil 3D.
  • Experience with grading, drainage, hydrology, hydraulics, stormwater, and utility design.
  • Strong technical writing, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

  • Develop land development designs based on site conditions, project constraints, client goals, agency requirements, and engineering best practices.
  • Prepare technical reports and perform complex engineering calculations.
  • Complete grading designs and earthwork calculations.
  • Perform hydrology, hydraulics, water quality, stormwater detention, drainage, and utility-sizing calculations.
  • Support construction administration activities, including RFIs, submittals, and construction changes.
  • Conduct QA/QC and completeness reviews of engineering work products.
  • Train and provide technical guidance to junior staff.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, clients, public agencies, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple assignments while maintaining accuracy and deadlines.

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications
