Job summary

You will lead design, analysis, and delivery, coordinating with clients, agencies, and contractors, and ensure QA/QC across drawings, reports, and permits. The position supports business development and proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Current Arizona PE license.
• 5-10+ years of progressively responsible civil engineering experience.
• Strong AutoCAD Civil 3D skills.
• Experience with civil infrastructure projects, particularly water, utilities, municipal, drainage, or site development.
• Strong technical judgment, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Ability to balance hands-on engineering with project management, client service, and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering design, analysis, and project delivery from concept through completion.
• Prepare and oversee plans, specifications, calculations, reports, estimates, permits, and construction documents.
• Provide technical direction, engineering judgment, and QA/QC for project deliverables.
• Direct AutoCAD Civil 3D design and production efforts for civil, water, utility, and natural gas pipeline projects.
• Serve as Engineer of Record and sign/seal documents as required.
• Lead and mentor project teams while coordinating with clients, consultants, agencies, utilities, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Support proposals, fee development, technical approaches, presentations, and business development activities.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise sound engineering judgment, solve complex problems, and deliver high-quality work.
• Assist with proposals, scopes of work, fee development, technical approaches, and business development activities as needed.
