Job summary

Fishbeck is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to support the Ohio Civil Field division in Cincinnati, OH. The role focuses on administration and construction oversight for municipal projects of varying size and scope, requiring travel and outdoor work.

Applicant must demonstrate high-quality performance, strong planning and communication, and the ability to lead staff in a project-team environment. PE license is preferred and 10+ years of municipal construction experience is desirable for

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• PE license is preferred.
• 10+ years of municipal construction experience; familiarity with Columbus, Gahanna and surrounding communities.
• Experience as Project Engineer or Assistant Project Engineer in oversight and administration for underground utility, road and/or bridge construction projects.
• Strong project management, leadership, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead administration and construction oversight for municipal projects in Ohio.
• Coordinate multiple projects and ensure compliance with contract documents.
• Prepare and review pay estimates, change orders, and project documentation.
• Schedule and facilitate meetings; distribute agendas and minutes.
• Provide guidance and training to inspection staff and junior engineers.
