Job summary

Jacobs Senior Civil Engineer role within the Federal & Environmental Solutions (FES) unit leads civil design for facility planning and final design projects, including site development for US military and federal facilities.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Civil Engineering degree required.
• 15+ years of progressive responsibility in site development.
• Experience sealing design documents as Engineer of Record.
• Strong leadership and team-management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering component of facility planning and final design projects.
• Ensure overall project quality, client service, staff utilization and profitability.
• Mentor EITs and civil support staff; coordinate with other disciplines and architects.
• Present progress to Project Managers and clients; manage multi-discipline design meetings.
• Support site development for federal facilities and coastal/ resiliency projects.
