Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Civil Engineer in Fort Worth, TX, to utilize and expand their civil engineering skills in a hybrid work environment. Responsibilities include designing and analyzing power plants and substations, guiding project teams, and preparing calculations and designs. A BSCE from an ABET-approved program and a PE license or the ability to obtain one are required. Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in a project team environment designing industrial projects, preferably power plant projects.
• Specific experience in site grading, storm water management, and road design.
• Experience preparing and obtaining related permits from regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design and analysis of power plants and substations.
• Guide other civil engineers and designers in project work.
• Prepare calculations for site development and drainage designs.
