The State of Vermont is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer I - Construction Services to lead a field support team, the Structural Services Unit, and the Finals Engineer. The role provides high-level technical reviews, oversees weekly payments, and manages the construction budget while improving processes and training staff.

Qualificações

• Registration as a Professional Engineer and ten years of engineering experience.
• Ability to lead a team and coordinate across project development and construction staff.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a team of field support specialists, the Structural Services Unit and the Finals Engineer.
• Provide high-level technical reviews for project documents during development.
• Review and approve weekly progress payments to contractors.
• Establish and track Construction's annual budget.
• Oversee updates to process manuals and field guidance documents.
• Participate in broader process improvement initiatives across divisions.
• Develop and provide training for field staff during the Winter.
• Collaborate with Agency Project Development & Rail Design teams.
