Job summary

The US Army Corps of Engineers seeks a senior Civil Engineer to serve as the District's Subject Matter Expert for Civil Engineering. You will perform studies, investigations, and design for the most complex projects and advise the E and C Division Chief on technical matters.

You will lead long-term, high-complexity efforts and develop reports, models, and drawings. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in engineering, PE licensure, and demonstrated experience with complex civil engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure required.
• Experience with complex civil engineering designs and analyses.

Responsibilities

• Serves as District Subject Matter Expert for Civil Engineering and oversees studies, investigations, and design for complex projects.
• Acts as principal advisor to the E and C Division Chief on technical civil engineering matters.
• Leads the most complex studies and develops reports, models, designs, layouts, and drawings.
• Manages long-term projects with broad technical scope and major complexity.
