Job summary

GHD in Southern California is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer / Project Manager for its Maritime and Coastal practice. You will provide design leadership, project management, client management, and mentor engineers on waterfront projects across CA, OR, WA and the Pacific West.

Location options Long Beach or Irvine with a hybrid model—three days in office. You will lead a team, grow client relationships, and stay current on M&C market trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil / Coastal / Structural Engineering from an accredited university.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with fellow engineers on a wide range of civil engineering projects.
• Contribute to and manage development of technical reports, plans and specifications.
• Maintain open communication with project teams and M&C group members.
• Lead project life-cycle activities from scope and schedule to feasibility studies and procurement.
• Coordinate with cross-discipline teams on market sector projects.
• Coach and mentor project team members to ensure safety, quality and efficiency.
• Grow and lead client relationships and support pursuit/proposal efforts.
