Leidos seeks a Senior Civil Engineer to join the National Airspace System Integration Support Contract (NISC IV) Team, supporting the FAA Terminal Engineering Center in Des Moines, WA.

Primary Responsibilities

• Support FAA Seattle Terminal / Surveillance / Weather Engineering Center with project management and planning for Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) and Terminal Radar Approach Control Facilities (TRACON) projects.
• Coordinate project meetings among stakeholders.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, ensuring timely completion.
• Participate in project planning, construction meetings, and site surveys.
• Review and develop project design/construction scope agreements.
• Coordinate reviews of facility designs, schedules, and project communications.
• Apply Safety Risk Management processes and recommend improvements.
• Analyze and review resource requirements, suggesting adjustments as needed.

Please Note: Must be able to work onsite in Des Moines, WA.

Required Qualifications

• Civil Engineering degree with 8+ years of relevant experience OR Master’s with 6+ years of experience.
• Knowledge of NAS facilities, systems, and terminology.
• Strong project management and site transition experience.
• Excellent communication, organizational skills, and proficiency in MS Office.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance (U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder residing in the U.S. for the past 3 years).
