You will lead design production, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with civil, structural, geotechnical and construction teams to deliver accurate drawings and specifications.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 10+ years in civil drafting and design for site development, grading, and drainage.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar software.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering design principles.
• Ability to read and QA/QC civil drawings, maps and survey data.
• Ability to work in a team and manage multiple tasks independently.

Responsabilidades

• Work on design aspects from project inception to completion on transmission line projects.
• Lead the preparation and revision of complex civil drawings.
• Oversee survey data into base maps and surface models.
• Develop site layout, grading and drainage designs with minimal supervision.
• Support stormwater design and drainage calculations.
• Create and review vicinity maps, access plans, and civil sheets.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to manage design models and drawings.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers and drafters.
• Coordinate with survey, engineering, and construction teams to ensure design accuracy and constructability.
• Support permitting efforts, including preparation of civil plan sets and responses to agency comments.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and contribute to cost estimates.
• Participate in design reviews and ensure compliance with company standards and client requirements.
• Conduct field visits and support civil construction inspections as needed.
• Identify design risks and propose practical, cost-effective solutions.
• Manage multiple tasks and priorities across projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Work a regular 40-hour workweek, with overtime as required.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
