Job summary

Olsson is seeking a Senior Civil Designer with a grading and utility focus to work on large, complex engineering projects across the US. You will collaborate with licensed engineers, producing detailed drawings and models using Civil 3D and CAD, and independently design utilities and surfaces under supervision.

Ideal candidates will have 8+ years of drafting experience, proficiency in Civil 3D, and strong teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in drafting or related field preferred.
• 8+ years of drafting and design experience.
• Experience in surface creation, analysis, utility design, and BIM coordination.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D software.

Responsibilities

• Independently design utilities and surfaces with engineer oversight.
• Prepare detailed drawings and models from Civil 3D/CAD data.
• Collaborate with engineers on plans, calculations, and sheet production.
• Utilize Pipe Networks, Surfaces, and Corridor features for campus scales.
