Olsson Associates is seeking a Civil Designer (Design Associate) to contribute to complex drafting on mixed-use and site development projects. The role emphasizes independent work, mentorship of junior staff, and applying standard techniques to deliver high-quality designs.
You will perform detailed design, CAD drafting in Civil 3D, and collaborate with teams to meet project objectives while adapting to varied terrains and client requirements.
Olsson provides multidisciplinary design services for mixed-use, commercial, and residential land development projects, along with municipal, industrial, sports, schools, and other site development types.
The Civil Designer (Design Associate) is an experienced designer that performs complex drafting assignments requiring the application of standardized techniques. The design associate works independently and may direct efforts of less experienced staff. This position has diversified design experience, an ability to perform work of a greater complexity, and recommends design techniques and minor design changes to ensure the best approach to solve engineering and design needs.
