Job summary

Passero Associates in St. Augustine, FL is seeking an experienced Civil Designer to support the planning, design, and construction of site development, municipal, and aviation infrastructure projects throughout the Southeast.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of progressive civil design experience and strong proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD, with the ability to independently produce high-quality construction documents and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years of progressive civil design experience in AEC consulting.
• Experience producing complete civil construction plan sets with Civil 3D/AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Prepare conceptual site layouts for project planning.
• Develop civil construction plans using Civil 3D, including alignments, profiles, and surfaces.
• Perform grading, drainage, and site development design for diverse projects.
• Prepare permitting packages, quantities, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with managers, engineers, surveyors, subconsultants, clients, and regulators.
• Mentor junior designers and maintain CAD/Civil 3D standards.
