Job summary

Napakiak Environmental and Construction (NEC) is seeking a Civil Design Engineer to develop high‑quality civil design packages for plant facilities and infrastructure, and provide engineering, procurement, and field technical support while ensuring compliance with codes and best practices.

The engineer will work with integrated project teams, perform field walkdowns, support installation, and lead multidisciplinary tasks when required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET‑accredited program.
• Minimum of 5 years of civil engineering experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop complete civil design packages for plant facilities and infrastructure.
• Provide engineering procurement support and material specifications.
• Deliver field technical support during construction and implementation.
• Apply codes and standards to solve complex civil engineering problems.
• Perform routine field walkdowns and coordinate with internal clients and teams.
