Job summary

Abonmarche in South Bend, IN is seeking a Civil Engineering CAD Designer to create detailed drawings using CAD software. You will work closely with Project Managers and Project Engineers to turn concepts into technical drawings for a variety of projects.

You will set up CAD areas, manage standards and files, develop 2D and 3D drawings, review designs with engineers, and participate in design reviews and project updates to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CAD design experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Civil 3D.
• A/E industry experience preferred.
• Strong math skills for areas, volumes, grades.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage CAD-related areas of projects, including setup, standards, and file management.
• Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings based on engineers' specifications.
• Translate design concepts into CAD designs for various projects.
• Review designs with engineering teams to ensure feasibility and incorporate feedback.
• Attend design reviews, team meetings, and project updates.
• Review and revise designs based on feedback from Senior Designers.
