Job Description:

Our client seeks a seasoned Civil Senior Designer with over eight years of experience in civil engineering and land development. Key expertise includes site layouts, grading plans, stormwater management, water quality BMPs, and site utility design. The candidate should demonstrate a commitment to collaboration within a multidisciplinary environment and possess skills from preliminary design through construction phases.

Qualifications:

1. Technical or Associate degree in civil engineering, civil design, or drafting / CAD.
2. 8+ years of experience in drafting and design for civil site improvements.
3. Understanding of industry standards across planning, permitting, design, and construction.
4. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, including Sheet Set Manager, site layout, surface models, corridors, pipe networks, and profiles.
5. Familiarity with GIS terminology and data import capabilities.
6. Preferred skills: preparing public improvement and grading plans, earthwork calculations.
7. Experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
8. Willingness to collaborate across offices to manage workload.
9. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
10. Excellent time management skills.
