Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior Citrix Engineer to design, implement, and manage Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop environments across on-premises and cloud infrastructures. You will maintain Citrix farms, implement NetScaler integrations, and ensure high availability for VDI workloads, with strong incident response and change management discipline.

Qualifications include Security+ certification, TS or secret clearance eligibility, and 10+ years' hands-on Citrix experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Security+ Certification.
• Must have a Secret Security clearance or higher, and be eligible for Top-Secret clearance.
• Certification in Citrix or equivalent work experience relative to supporting XenApp and XenDesktop platforms.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience with designing, building, and managing Citrix Environments.
• Hands-on experience in Citrix Farm Migrations.
• Hands-on experience with Citrix management tools like Director, RCA preparation.
• Hands-on experience in ITIL processes, incident management, change management, and Studio.
• Experience in Citrix Secure Gateway, Web Interface, and NetScaler.
• Experience building and configuring Citrix Farms.
• Experience deploying servers utilizing PVS and/or MCS in a virtual environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage Citrix applications

• Provide technical support for incident response, service degradations, outages, and other interruptions
• Provide Tier I, II, and III support to Citrix XenDesktop VDI environments
• Configure, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in Citrix PVS and Windows Server environments
• Investigate hardware and software problems related to Citrix infrastructure and perform corrective actions
• Perform Citrix design, performance monitoring, tuning, scripting, upgrades, and maintenance for production systems
• Support applications, hardware, operating systems, and network infrastructure
• Make architectural and operational recommendations and apply updates to Citrix environments
• Perform daily server maintenance and troubleshooting
• Administer Citrix PVS for server maintenance, upgrades, and image maintenance
• Configure, deploy, monitor, and maintain VDI tasks
• Follow vendor and industry best practices for cloud and software configuration
• Collaborate with other technical specialists on assigned duties
• Perform other tasks as required by OSC and the Government contracting office
