Job summary

GDH is seeking a Cisco SD-WAN Solution Architect to lead design, validation, and deployment of large-scale enterprise SD-WAN solutions. This senior role requires independent review of architecture and close collaboration with engineering teams, technology partners, and delivery groups to ensure deployment aligns with industry best practices.

Qualifications

20+ years of experience in enterprise networking, network architecture, or engineering.
5+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco SD-WAN / Viptela.
In-depth knowledge of Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN architecture, deployment, and platforms such as Catalyst 8500 and 8300 series.
Availability for a hybrid work schedule.
CCIE or equivalent Cisco networking expertise preferred.

Responsibilities

Review and validate Cisco SD-WAN architecture and detailed designs for best practices and scalability.
Assess topology, hub/mesh architectures, routing, segmentation, resiliency.
Evaluate configurations, feature profiles, templates, and device models for efficiency.
Identify gaps, scalability concerns, and risks; propose remediation strategies.
Provide guidance on Cisco SD-WAN deployment and troubleshooting.
Lead readiness assessments, cutover planning, and production readiness activities.
