Job summary

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Two+ years supervisory experience and licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) in WA preferred.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer in Washington is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage design and construction within the City's Capital Improvement Program.
• Develop budgets, and oversee consultant contracts and project expenditures.
• Provide direction and performance oversight for assigned staff.
• Coordinate with city departments and external agencies on long-range plans.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and design standards.
