Job summary

M&T Bank Corporation is seeking a skilled software developer to design, build, test, and deploy CIAM applications in Buffalo, NY. You will implement login, MFA, SSO flows and integrate identity providers with digital banking channels.

Strong C#/.NET and JavaScript skills are required, along with hands-on experience in OAuth2.0, OIDC, SAML, and JWT. You will contribute to CI/CD pipelines, testing, and security scanning within an SDLC framework.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in C#/.NET and JavaScript.
• Experience implementing authentication and authorization (OAuth2.0, OIDC, SAML, JWT, SSO).
• Hands-on with source control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated builds/deployments.
• Knowledge of Web APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and design patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy CIAM apps within the SDLC.
• Build and enhance authentication/authorization (login, MFA, SSO).
• Develop Web APIs integrating identity platforms with banking channels.
• Review PRs and provide quality feedback; manage change control.
• Maintain tests and contribute to CI/CD and security scanning.
• Analyze requirements and provide development estimates.
• Support production operations, incident triage, and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and stakeholders on architecture.
• Share knowledge via code reviews and documentation.
• Adhere to risk, regulatory standards and M&T policies.
