Job summary

Harris Companies in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Chiller Mechanic to maintain and repair commercial chillers and central plant equipment. You will diagnose issues, perform complex repairs, and ensure systems run safely and efficiently for our customers.

This field-based role requires 10–15 years of trade experience, strong knowledge of centrifugal, screw, or reciprocating chillers, and proficiency with EMS/BMS and BACnet.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of relevant trade experience.
• Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining commercial chillers.
• Strong understanding of centrifugal, screw, or reciprocating chillers.
• Comfortable using Building Management Systems (BMS) and PC-based apps.
• Experience retrofitting advanced systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair commercial chillers and related equipment.
• Diagnose issues, communicate findings, and propose repair solutions.
• Work with EMS/BACnet systems to support reliable operations.
• Maintain service records and perform quality repairs to minimize calls.
