Job Overview:
The head teacher is a member of the teaching team who shares responsibility with the assistant teacher for the care and education of an assigned group of children. The head teacher is responsible for implementingThe Creative Curriculumalong with its system of assessment and documentation; supervising children; communicating with parents; providing a healthy and safe environment for children that encourages social emotional, physical, cognitive and language development based on the Reggio Approach. The head teacher is responsible for completing all necessary documentation for NAEYC Accreditation.
