Job summary

Phoenix Tailings is seeking a Senior Office of the CEO Associate to act as an execution partner to the CEO on company-defining priorities. You will independently shape and lead work that crosses functional boundaries, from initial question through decision and into execution.

The ideal candidate blends strategic judgment with operating discipline, develops a point of view, earns trust across the company, and drives complex initiatives with limited formal authority.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, private equity, corporate strategy, or an operating role at a scaling company.

Responsibilities

• Own major CEO sponsored initiatives from definition through execution.
• Develop recommendations on capital allocation, expansion, partnerships, new markets, and company priorities.
• Lead cross functional teams through influence, clear decision making, and consistent follow through.
• Represent the CEO's office in selected internal and external workstreams.
• Prepare and pressure test materials for board meetings, investors, partners, customers, and executive decisions.
• Identify emerging issues and opportunities, define the required work, and move them toward resolution.
• Create operating plans, milestones, and accountability for initiatives that sit outside a single function.
• Coach junior team members and raise the quality of analysis and communication across shared projects.
