Job summary

DCS Corp is seeking a Chief Engineer in Beavercreek, OH to lead engineering efforts for a future PACAF R&D project focused on delivering warfighter-ready capabilities. The role anticipates on-site work with travel to CONUS/OCONUS locations. A PhD in an engineering discipline is preferred, with extensive DoD experience and a Top Secret/SCI clearance requirement.

Ideal candidates have 20+ years in engineering with 12+ years in the DoD, and prior experience managing a large R&D organization. U.S.

Qualifications

U.S. citizenship is required.
Top Secret with SCI eligibility clearance required.
20+ years of experience in engineering with 12+ years in the DoD.
PhD is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a technology portfolio and the business operations of a complex R&D organization in AFRL.
Direct an R&D organization with 100+ employees.
Provide technical review and guidance for R&D programs.
Serve as a member of an Executive Group.
Develop and manage large ($100M+) R&D budgets.
Coordinate with subcontractors and AFLCMC to move projects to full acquisition.
Work with C5ISRT, counter-C5ISRT, and Agile Combat Employment initiatives is a plus.
