Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology (UCT) seeks a Chemline Technician IV in Phoenix, AZ to lead advanced wet chemical processing and ultra-high purity cleaning for semiconductor components. You will own tank chemistries, validate outputs, and ensure CoA compliance as a SME on the line.

This senior technical role drives continuous improvement in safety, quality, and throughput, mentoring junior staff and supporting NPI efforts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 4–6+ years in wet chemical processing, plating, etch, or semiconductor cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced wet chemical cleaning, stripping, etching, and processing of semiconductor components.
• Prepare, monitor, and maintain chemical tank chemistries in accordance with validated recipes.
• Lead daily operations of assigned chemlines, ensuring throughput, quality, and safety targets are met.
• Review and approve travelers, batch records, test data, and Certificates of Analysis (CoA).
• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot process deviations, contamination risks, and equipment issues; implement corrective actions.
• Support first article (FAI), R&D, and new process qualifications; mentor junior technicians.
