Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology (UCT) in Phoenix, AZ, seeks a Chemline Technician IV to lead advanced wet chemical processing and ultrahigh-purity cleaning of semiconductor components. The role acts as the SME for tank chemistries, validates outputs, and ensures CoA/compliance while driving safety, quality and throughput.

The Technician IV leads chemline operations, supports NPI, and mentors junior technicians, with emphasis on contamination control, data logging, and continuous improvement across safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 4–6+ years of experience in wet chemical processing, plating, etch, or semiconductor cleaning.
• Strong experience in chemical handling and process control.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced wet chemical cleaning, stripping, etching, and processing of semiconductor components.
• Lead daily chemline operations, ensuring throughput, quality, and safety targets are met.
• Review travelers, batch records, test data, and Certificates of Analysis (CoA).
• Troubleshoot process deviations and contamination risks; implement corrective actions.
• Train and mentor junior technicians and support NPI and process qualifications.
• Maintain proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous chemicals per EHS standards.
