Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field with relevant oilfield experience or Master’s degree with oilfield experience.
• Experience supporting US land-based oil & gas production chemistry programs.
• Proven ability to manage high volumes of routine analytical testing with quality and turnaround time.
• Experience operating and troubleshooting ICP-OES, IC, GC, XRF or equivalent instruments.
• Proficiency in MS Office and LIMS with data reporting for operations and process improvement.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities in a small-team lab setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead routine and non-routine analytical testing for customer programs and field operations.
• Troubleshoot challenges, validate methods, interpret data, and solve complex problems.
• Design, conduct, and interpret analyses tied to field performance and outcomes.
• Manage multiple priorities and deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Operate, maintain, and optimize laboratory instrumentation ensuring QA/QC compliance.
• Mentor chemists, technicians, and technologists through coaching and guidance.
• Collaborate with field personnel, sales, and technical teams to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Identify opportunities to improve laboratory efficiency, safety, and customer service.
• Champion safety culture and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
