Job summary

Lilly Medicines Foundry in Carmel, IN, seeks an experienced analytical chemist to rapidly develop and validate HPLC/UPLC methods in a GMP environment, supporting cleaning verification across multiple modalities, from small molecules to high-potency compounds.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Process Development, lead method transfers, mentor junior analysts, and help build analytical capabilities at a first-of-its-kind facility, onsite in Carmel/Lebanon, Indiana.

Qualifications

• MS in Analytical Chemistry or related field with 5+ years in pharma
• BS in Analytical Chemistry with 8+ years in pharma
• Hands-on HPLC/UPLC method development with UV/CAD/ELSD
• LC-MS method development experience in GMP labs
• Experience with data integrity and cGMP practices
• Authorized to work in the United States full-time

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement analytical methods for cleaning validation across modalities
• Develop and qualify HPLC/UPLC methods with UV/CAD/ELSD
• Apply LC-MS to support trace-level residues and degradants
• Perform routine GMP testing of swab and rinse samples
• Lead method transfer and technology transfer to Foundry QC labs
• Mentor junior analysts and coordinate laboratory capacity
• Ensure compliance with cGMP and ALCOA+ data integrity
