SPL in Plano, TX is seeking a Senior Chemist to lead complex analytical work in our environmental laboratory. You will own method development, data quality, and instrumentation performance while mentoring staff to deliver high‑quality results.

The role requires 5+ years in a regulated lab, strong QA/QC, and hands‑on expertise with LIMS and EPA methods. This on‑site position offers full‑time hours, competitive benefits, and opportunities across multiple disciplines.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of analytical lab experience in a regulated environment.
• Hands-on expertise with analytical instrumentation and troubleshooting.
• Experience with method development, validation or verification, transfer, optimization, and implementation.
• Strong QA/QC, data integrity, documentation, and regulatory compliance knowledge.
• Proficiency with MS Office and LIMS.
• Knowledge of EPA methods and accreditation standards.

Responsabilidades

• Lead day-to-day technical guidance, resolve escalations, support workflow priorities, and ensure high-quality results.
• Perform advanced analytical testing and review/interpret data in LIMS.
• Develop, validate, transfer, optimize analytical methods.
• Oversee instrument performance, calibration, PM, troubleshooting, downtime reduction.
• Lead investigations into nonconformances, deviations, root-cause analysis, and CAPA.
• Train and mentor laboratory personnel on methods, instrumentation, quality practices, and problem-solving.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and controlled documentation.
• Support audits, data integrity initiatives, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Lab Manager to improve workflow, capacity, and throughput.
