Qualifications

• PhD in chemistry, computational chemistry, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of post-graduate experience in cheminformatics or computational chemistry.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and lead cheminformatics workflows.
• Experience in chemical structure curation and data integration.
• Experience developing ML models for chemical safety endpoints.
• Strong publication track record and ability to mentor junior scientists.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement innovative cheminformatic research initiatives linking chemical structure to hazard and exposure.
• Lead development of curated databases for chemical structures, identifiers, and properties.
• Develop and apply advanced cheminformatic workflows with reproducibility in mind.
• Mentor junior researchers, postdocs, and interns in cheminformatics methods.
• Collaborate with toxicologists, exposure scientists, and computational modelers.
