You will monitor margins, pricing, and pipeline execution while expanding territory opportunities. A 5–10 year background in chemical distribution sales and a proven ability to close business are required.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in chemical distribution sales.
• Experience leading and coaching sales teams.
• Strong understanding of margins and profitability.
• Proven track record closing business.
• Based in California or willing to relocate to California.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with ownership to understand the business, customers, sales strategy, and growth objectives
• Lead, coach, and develop junior sales representatives
• Support accountability, sales activity, pipeline management, and execution
• Monitor gross profit performance and maintain disciplined margin management
• Review pricing, deal structures, and profitability
• Drive territory growth, customer retention, and new business development
• Build strong working relationships with senior and junior sales representatives
• Support hiring, onboarding, training, and development of sales talent
• Analyze sales performance, pipeline activity, trends, and territory results
• Identify opportunities for market expansion and revenue growth
• Work closely with operations, purchasing, and leadership teams
• Contribute to strategic sales planning
