Job summary
Solstice Advanced Materials is seeking a Chemical Process Engineer III to provide expert technical guidance in a 24/7 manufacturing facility. You will drive process improvements, support scale-up of developmental products, and lead KPI-driven optimization while mentoring operations staff.
The role emphasizes collaboration with site engineers, execution of capital and non-capital projects, and a focus on yield improvements, energy efficiency, and safety programs within a solvent‑rich production
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical, mechanical or industrial engineering.
- 3+ years of process, production or manufacturing engineering in chemical/petroleum/polymer environments.
- Ability to work independently and make technical decisions with limited supervision.
- Strong troubleshooting and unit operations optimization background.
- Experience leading MOCs, RCAs and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, development, and implementation of chemical processes and solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development and improvement.
- Provide technical guidance to ensure successful project execution.
- Stay updated with industry trends and chemical engineering advancements.
- Ensure safety regulations and industry standards compliance.
