Job summary

Solstice Advanced Materials seeks a Sr Chemical Process Engineer to provide technical leadership for a 24/7 manufacturing facility, driving safety, quality, yields, and efficiency. You will lead development from prototype to market for next-gen Spectra products and guide operations in process troubleshooting and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include owning MOC reviews, tracking KPIs, and mentoring other engineers while collaborating with site teams to implement innovative process

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, mechanical, or industrial engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in process, production, and/or manufacturing engineering in chemical/petroleum/polymer environments.
• Ability to work independently and make technical decisions with minimal supervision.
• Strong troubleshooting background and unit operations optimization.
• Experience leading MOCs, RCAs and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide site technical expertise to ensure 24/7 operation meets quality, cost, and efficiency goals.
• Support off-hours operations including unit turnarounds.
• Lead MOC reviews and contribute to site PSM program development.
• Develop and implement innovative engineering solutions to improve OEE and reduce variability.
• Mentor engineers and serve as a subject matter expert for assigned units.
• Deliver sustained improvements through capital and non-capital projects.
