Solstice Advanced Materials is seeking a Lead R&D Engineer/Scientist to drive process development for new product commercialization and productivity projects. Qualifications

• BS degree in Chemical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in R&D, process engineering, or process development.

Responsibilities

• Lead full range of process development work; expertise in chemistry and chemical engineering.
• Coordinate R&D functions, design and build process development scale equipment, supervise staff.
• Develop manufacturing technologies and support patent portfolios.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Engineering on cost reduction and process improvements.
• Adhere to safety policies and wear PPE as required.
• Work on liquid and/or vapor phase manufacturing technologies, with or without catalysts.
• Lead pilot plant activities and report experimental results.

Education

BS in Chemical Engineering

MS/Ph.D. in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
