GE Vernova is seeking a Senior Chemical Engineer – Process Development in Wilmington, NC to lead complex analytics and process improvement for uranium fuel products. The role requires deep chemical engineering knowledge and experience with analytical methods, equipment selection, and regulatory compliance.

You will work within the Uranium Product Center, collaborating with engineering and quality teams to ensure reliable testing, safe operations, and continuous improvement of manufacturing

Qualifications

• 4-Year degree or equivalent required with 10+ years of design and development experience.
• 6+ years of technical engineering work scope; 2+ years in industrial process or equipment design.
• Role located in Wilmington, NC with potential relocation assistance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize analysis processes for testing raw materials, intermediates, and final products.
• Identify, evaluate, and install analytical equipment; oversee calibration and validation.
• Establish and validate methods to ISO/ASTM standards; create SOPs.
• Analyze data to monitor product quality and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with engineering and QA to align processes with goals.
• Ensure safety and environmental compliance of analytical processes.
• Lead projects in chemical manufacturing.
