Job summary

Kundlas Consulting Group LLC in New Jersey is seeking a Chemical Inspector to evaluate industrial chemical products across fuels, lubricants, greases, and cleaners. You will review data, assess compliance with ASTM standards, and support QA decisions.

The role requires a Chemistry BS and at least five years' laboratory testing experience, with strong knowledge of testing methods and environmental requirements. This position is on-site at our NJ office.

Qualifications

Bachelor in chemistry required.
Minimum five years' experience inspecting and/or testing industrial chemical products.
Experience with fuels, lubricants, greases, antifreeze, engine coolant, biofuels, or similar chemicals.
Familiarity with ASTM and physical/chemical test methods.
Familiarity with test procedures, tolerances, lab equipment, and inspection records.
Knowledge of EO #134 environmental impact of cleaning materials.

Responsibilities

Review vendor Certificates of Analysis and lab results.
Collect, package, and ship chemical samples when required.
Evaluate test results against ASTM criteria, Authority specs, and inspection records.
Make acceptance or rejection recommendations based on tests and requirements.
Apply statistical techniques to determine testing frequency and review raw materials.
Notify Authority of changes to raw materials or manufacturing processes.
Prepare inspection documentation and support QA decisions.
