About the Role

Our client, a leading innovator in advanced materials and sustainable chemical solutions, is seeking a highly motivated Senior Chemical Engineer to join their dedicated Research & Development team in Randburg, Gauteng. This role is pivotal in conceptualizing, developing, and optimizing novel chemical processes and products. You will leverage your expertise in reaction engineering, separation technologies, and process scale-up to drive innovation from laboratory experiments through to pilot plant trials. The position requires a blend of hands-on laboratory work and theoretical analysis, with a focus on translating research findings into commercially viable applications. This hybrid role allows for focused R&D work, potentially including some remote analysis, combined with essential on-site laboratory and pilot plant operations in Randburg.
