iRiS Recruiting Solutions in Nashville, TN is seeking a Compliance Engineer to lead product safety and regulatory certification efforts across UL, ETL, NSF, DOE, CE, UKCA, and EPA. This hybrid role collaborates with Engineering, R&D, Procurement, and Supply Chain to embed compliance from concept through launch.

You will coordinate testing, submissions, and audits, maintain certification documentation, and issue final product launch approvals to ensure regulatory readiness for each release.

Compliance Engineer | Product Safety & Regulatory

Nashville, TN (Hybrid)

Reports To: Director of Research and Development

As our new Compliance Engineer, you’ll take the helm of product safety and regulatory certification initiatives (including UL, ETL, NSF, DOE, CE, UKCA, and EPA) throughout the entire product lifecycle. You’ll drive compliance strategies and collaborate with Engineering, R&A,D, Procurement, and Supply Chain to ensure regulatory standards are integrated into product design from day one.

Core Responsibilities

• Administer product certifications (UL, ETL, NSF, DOE, CE, UKCA, EPA) and set timelines and priorities
• Act as the primary liaison with testing laboratories, auditors, and certification bodies
• Drive end-to-end certification initiatives including testing coordination, submissions, and audits
• Oversee compliance documentation including test reports, product labels, and the Approved Components List
• Partner with Engineering and R&A,D to integrate compliance requirements from concept through commercialization
• Provide final compliance approval for product launch readiness
