Job summary

Ebenezer is seeking a Senior Chef to lead the Willows Bend culinary team in Fridley, MN. This role ensures meals meet regulatory and guest expectations, manages inventory, ordering, and daily prep tasks, and supports health inspections and menu planning.

The position involves supervising staff and coordinating events, with a strong emphasis on food safety and quality. The Senior Chef will work 80 hours every two weeks on a full-time day/early-evening schedule, including every other weekend and

Qualifications

1 year of previous experience in food service.
Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) issued by MN in location MN within 90 days.

Responsibilities

Foster growth and skill development within the Culinary team.
Document and organize inventory for smooth kitchen workflows.
Place orders via online platform and manage PO and invoicing.
Assist with health inspections, menu planning, and daily prep sheets.
Prepare and cook meals to specified temperatures using standard recipes and portioning.
Coordinate events with the Culinary Director and supervise kitchen staff in supervisor’s absence.
Ensure safe food handling per hygiene policies and IDDSI standards.
