What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

1. Ensure the Chargemaster (CDM) complies with coding and billing regulations and accurately represents services provided
2. Serve as the liaison between Hospital ministry and the PSJH System Revenue Integrity/Chargemaster Department
3. Research and address CDM maintenance requests promptly
4. Provide training to Hospital ministry staff on the CDM Maintenance process, coding updates, and charge capture improvement
5. Respond to inquiries regarding Chargemaster issues from Hospital ministry

What is Required (Qualifications):

1. Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Nursing, Sciences, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in hospital chargemaster, including knowledge of inpatient and outpatient billing requirements and coding principles
3. 3 years of operational performance improvement and/or project management experience
4. 5 years of experience working with Hospital EMR related to Chargemaster, preferably Epic EAP
5. 3 years of experience with CDM Maintenance tools/software such as Craneware, Vitalware, or nThrive
